Gagged and bound as I was, I shuddered,
The real horror was in his word, in his world.
In the fact that he was lost to reason,
And so consumed by hatred and servitude.
To the corrupted.
I waited for the blow to fall,
For the culling blade to tear,
Waited for deliverance, divine intervention.
But the Lord, remained silent.
I could see his searing gaze burn my blinded eyes,
His hatred repulsed me,
And yet, he said he wasnt ready to kill me,
Not just yet.
I believed him.
But maybe thats what the Lord had ordained,
I do not know, but I believe it must have been so.
And so I resigned myself to my fate
To existing as a phantom,to joining the Black Parade.
